National specialist hail damage car repair company Dents & Dings Australia Pty Ltd has leased a major facility in Melbourne to repair thousands of vehicles damaged in a major Christmas Day hail storm.

Queensland-based Dents & Dings has secured the industrial warehouse at 117-121 Link Drive, Campbellfield, in Melbourne’s north in a deal negotiated by Wade Short of Ray White Commercial Preston.

Mr Short said Dents & Dings were national hail repairers for IAG insurance and will be running the Campbellfield facility as an RACV assessment centre.

“It’s expected that Dents & Dings will use the facility for the repair of approximately 10,000 motor vehicles that were damaged in the Christmas Day hail storm,” he said.

Mr Short said Dents & Dings had taken out a one year lease on the building.

“The floor area of the warehouse and office building is approximately 2720 sqm,” he said.

“There are multiple loading doors and the location offers easy access to the Hume Highway.”

Dents & Dings is a rapid response company that can attend to storm damage locations nationwide and has a dedicated storm manager on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Mr Short said Dents & Dings has leased the Link Drive site at a gross rental of $245,000 per annum.

“This is a rate of approximately $90 per sqm which is one of the highest in the area,” he said.
