
AUTOBARN SUPERSTORE FOR NEW COMPLEX
Hunter Valley Couriers Pty Ltd trading as national automotive spart parts retailer aAutobarn has secured a long term tenancy in a yet to be completed industrial warehouse complex at Rutherford near Maitland in the Hunter Valley region of New South Wales.
The company has pre-leased a showroom in the complex at 60 Shipley Drive, Rutherford, for a new Autobarn superstore in a deal negotiated by Greg Watson and Scott Burgess of Ray White Commercial Robina.
Mr Watson, the Principal of Ray White Commercial Robina, said the Rutherford complex was being developed by Hunter Land Corporation, which has built residential and commercial estates throughout NSW.
“Construction work on the complex started late last year and it is due for completion in the first half of 2012,” Mr Watson said.
“The site offers excellent access and is ideally located opposite Harvey Norman and just off the New England Highway.”
Scott Burgess, the CEO of Ray White Commercial Robina, said Hunter Valley Couriers had leased an 1130 sqm building with office, showroom and warehouse facilities as well as staff amenities.
“Ray White Commercial Robina are currently in negotiations for the sale of the building on completion,” Mr Burgess said.
Hunter Valley Couriers has taken out a 10 x 10 year lease.
