Ray White Commercial M1 agent Karen Seeto has been judged the state’s top commercial salesperson at the annual Real Estate Institute of Queensland (REIQ) Awards for Excellence.

Ms Seeto has achieved sales in excess of half a billion dollars and has become an institution in industrial real estate on the Gold Coast.

Ray White Commercial CEO Mark Williams said the REIQ Award was a tribute to Ms Seeto’s skill and professionalism.

“This is a fantastic honour for Karen who has unrivalled knowledge of her local market,” Mr Williams said.

“Industrial, commercial and retail developers as well as individual lot holders have all benefited from Karen’s wealth of knowledge, expertise and understanding of the market trends, the market opportunities and the investment potential.

“She is currently the number one international commercial agent for the Ray White international network and just goes from strength to strength.

“Her award is a great honour for the team at Ray White Surfers Paradise and it was pleasing that Jon Aldridge was also a nominee for the REIQ commercial sales person of the year.”

Ms Seeto said she was confident that 2010 would be another strong sales year for commercial property in the northern Gold Coast region.

“We have had great success with property sales via auction and anticipate this trend to continue,” she said.

“The market has been solid and we are continuing to receive enquiry from a large cross-section of buyers including owner-occupiers and investors, both from local interests and interstate.”

Ms Seeto over the last two years has produced key sales results for many multinational companies that have entered the Gold Coast commercial / industrial market.

Some of the largest portfolios have included Orchard Funds Management, Stockland, Challenger Financial Services, Harvey Norman and Brown and Hurley.
