Born in New Zealand, Twaanie followed her childhood dream to move to the Gold Coast to soak up the sunshine and further her career in the property industry. Twaanie grew up working alongside her father in the new house construction industry which is where her passion for the industry began. Recently married to her partner of 10 years, she loves every moment of her life on the Gold Coast.

Twaanie initially started in Commercial Real Estate doing Commercial Asset Management some 10 years ago. Throughout her career she has gained vast experience in Commercial and Residential Real Estate and also in the Property Development and Construction Industry, including extensive knowledge in Commercial Asset Management, Shopping Centre Management, Off the Plan and New Home Sales, Office Management and Leasing.

During her time in Commercial Asset Management she has been closely involved in all aspects of the management of substantial Commercial buildings portfolios which included management of Government tenancies; arranging tenders for contracts, overseeing building presentation, business development, trust accounting, leasing and sales.

Twaanie was soon expanding her skills becoming Operations Manger for Commercial First National which involved overseeing the 4 offices including the control of the Administration Team, Residential Property Management team and the growth and management of the Commercial Asset Management and Leasing Department.

Twaanie was also an integral part of the Sunland Sales Team involved in the sales of off the plan apartments for Q1, Circle on Cavill and the Avalon towers in Surfers Paradise.

This is Twaanie’s second term of employment with Ray White commencing initially with Raptis Plaza Shopping Centre in Centre Management and now working with the Commercial leasing team as a Retail and Commercial Leasing Specialist.

Throughout her career, Twaanie’s passion for furthering herself personally and professionally has seen her complete a Diploma of Business Management, Certificate in Business Administration and Customer-Centred Selling and is currently partially through a Diploma of Justice.
