Monica Smith - Director Administration and Property Manager

After completing Business College in Sydney, Monica arrived on the Sunshine Coast in 1980 with her family.  Monica joined Brett and Black Solicitors working as the Conveyancing Clerk for the firm and managed the Trust Account.   Monica later worked in the property construction industry and in 1992 was appointed Area Manager for Mastermen Homes Sunshine Coast working with developers, identifying opportunities and managing  the sales team. With a passion for property Monica has successfully purchased and renovated a number of properties and speculative houses in the Sunshine Coast region. 

In 2003 Monica completed her salesperson licence and worked with a local real estate agency and eventually became a joint owner/operator of Woombye Real Estate undertaking Property Management/Sales/Contract Administration and Trust Account Management.

Monica  sold her share to her business partner in December 2009 and with David is now a Director of Ray White Commercial Maroochydore. Monica holds a full real estate licence, Certificate IV in Project Management, undertaken a Certificate IV in Financial Services and is nearing completion for a Bachelor of Business (Marketing) degree at the University of the Sunshine Coast.     Monica has strong financial/accountancy knowledge, administration, sales and leasing negotiation, and a understanding of commercial leasing practices in the Sunshine Coast market.
