Karen has been involved with Ray White Surfers Paradise for over 8 years.

Throughout her time at Ray White she has worked in the investment division, working with developers, investment buyers. Most of the developments are off the plan which requires a special skill of selling, as there is nothing tangible to look at, just future plans, drawings, figures etc After a few years in this division Karen moved to the Commercial Division and has been involved in both the leasing and sales division.

Her qualifications and background are in advertising and marketing, having worked as National Advertising Manager for a Multi National Company for many years. Prior to this Karen worked directly in the Advertising Agency Industry in Media and Production. This is a high pressure industry, with tight deadlines and high expectations for performance and results.

After a corporate career Karen set up and operated an import and retail business which she ran successfully for many years until her relocation to Australia.

This background has enabled Karen to gain the depth of knowledge and skills to work under pressure, negotiate for favourable outcomes and get results. Karen and her husband have three daughters and in her spare time enjoys beach walking, swimming and relaxing with her family.

She has enjoyed a career in real estate on the Gold Coast for many years and finds it’s an excellent vehicle for meeting new and interesting people from all aspects of life that she never would have ever met otherwise and many have become very good friends.
