David C Smith  Director - Selling Principal

After many years in banking and finance in Brisbane and the Gold Coast, David C Smith commenced his real estate career on the Sunshine Coast in 1980 working in project marketing of residential land and unit developments, prior to setting up and managing the commercial real estate division for PRD Realty.  David also worked as a consultant for some major developers such as Qintex, Forrester Parker, Wickham Developments and McWilliam Property Group. 

He has also been involved with leasing and sales for both Local, State and Commonwealth Government Departments. After ten years with Savills Maroochydore, David C Smith has worked with Ray White Commercial Maroochydore as an independent contractor before purchasing the business in January 2010.  David is now the Principal and Director of the Ray White Commercial Franchise. 

David has earned a reputation as one of the Sunshine Coast’s leading brokers across the disciplines of leasing and sales in retail, commercial and industrial property, specialising in all aspects of project marketing and Property Management. His communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills are demonstrated by the volume of transactions he has completed over the past 30 years including projects for local, State and Commonwealth Departments as well as major developers.

David's results has ensured he continues to be in the 10 ten international sales consultants and is presently ranked number five year to date in gross commission.
